Through direct operation of public toilet facilities in urban and rural markets, we generate firsthand insight into user behavior, sanitation practices, and environmental challenges that desk research simply cannot capture. Our engagement with government authorities and public service providers gives us a nuanced understanding of local institutions and how they function in the Bangladesh context. Combined with technology-enabled data collection, our research spans water, sanitation and hygiene, urban development and management, and climate and environment informing not just our own projects, but the wider sector.
