Child-friendly Public Space Development in front of Bauniabadh Government Primary School

Supported by Save the Children, Bhumijo transformed underutilized areas in Bauniabadh, Dhaka, into vibrant, child-friendly public spaces. The community-centered design process emphasized safe play, learning, and social interaction, responding directly to neighborhood needs. By combining thoughtful design with active community participation, the project strengthened everyday public life and delivered inclusive, resilient spaces enhancing well-being and creating a healthier urban environment for Bauniabadh’s children and families.
